As Vice President and Director of Engineering at SIKAND, Young serves as a project director, engineering design supervisor, construction manager, and coordinator of improvement plans. Project review, client and public agency liaison and the resolution of technical and legal issues related to development projects are included in Young’s responsibilities.

Young came to SIKAND with a great amount of valuable experience. From 1985 through 1999, he worked at the Chadmar Group/Headland Properties. At Chadmar, he was the vice president responsible for liaison with all planning and design consultants (civil engineering, soils and geology, architecture, planning), coordination with city agencies and public utilities, submission and approval processing of tract maps, zoning, grading plans, improvement plans and permits, estimating and scheduling of development and for administration of grading and improvement contracts.
